This design focused on erosion control with native plants to mitigate problems caused by flooding due to parking lot runoff. The unique plant palette was possible due to a small stream running at the base of the dry hillside. The pathway on either side of the planting serves as an ADA compliant ramp above and processional path below from the formal terrace. Scope of garden design work included removal of all existing plant material and lawn, regrading and stabilization of the slope, rework of stream, and complete new planting plan.

Initial design and concept collaboration with Ben Futa.
